More Cooper

Here is Cooper with his bird wing.. he was REFUSING to give it up! Once he had it in his mouth, he was not going to let go and as soon as he did, he was immediately scouting all over trying to find it again.. He is VERY birdy and I should start taking pictures of Derek when he looks at his pup because he just glows with excitement! Not to sound too corny or anything.

I took a video last night of Cooper in the kitchen with his wing and just how determined he is to hold onto it and then I edited in a bunch of short videos we took the first day we had Cooper home when we introduced him to the other 2 dogs and how quickly Ellie took to him.. She is pretty funny! She likes to take care of him and is always checking on him when he is in his crate.

I tried uploading the video to the blog, but after trying for HOURS, I finally just put it up on youtube.. here is the link:

We decided that we are not staying outside with Cooper long enough for him to finish his potty business. Even though he pees once, we have learned that doesnt mean he finished emptying his bladder, so we now stay outside until we've seen him pee 2-3 times and then we are able to bring him in and allow him to roam around the living room with the other kids.. Last night I watched him pee 6 times in less than 10 minutes!

After he was playing with the wing, the only toy he was really interested in was this soft un-stuffed weassel thing and he didnt want to let go of it, was treating it as if it were his wing.. not really chewing, just proudly carrying it around and laying with it and not letting Ellie have it back! :) We are so excited for him to grow up just a bit more and turn into a teenager when he can have free roam of the house and we are not so paranoid about what he is getting into.

We are so thankful for this opportunity to own such a great dog and to have been lucky enough in finding Jim and getting pick of the litter.. Clearly it was all meant to work out just like it has.
