Just incase you ever worried that vampires might shack up in our barn, well worry no longer... Gerri gave us this tub of garlic that is fed to Big Red, to help detract mosquitoes from him as he is sensitive to normal fly sprays and boy let me tell ya, I think the entire neighborhood is vampire free! Whew that is some damn strong garlic.. :) lol
I also have to find him a good "natural" flyspray, I found a sampler spray that smells very heavily of citronella, so there are some quite strange smells in our barn these days. I did learn the other day too that we can detract flies from our home and barn by hanging ziplock baggies 1/2 full of water with 3 pennies in each baggy. Hmm.. not sure if it works, but worth a try!
