I finally got back the letter I needed for Edgar! Yeah... The ranch that branded him sent me the letter indicating they release him and that to the best of their knowledge I am in legal possession of him.. so we can now get a brand inspection done on him which means we can then travel across state lines... legally!! YEAH! That was a big headache process but I'm glad to have it resolved.. The bummer part is that they didnt send me any information on Edgar, like I had hoped they would.. oh well.. we love him and that's all that matters.

If you ever buy a horse with a brand, just be aware of the potential issues it could cause you down the road, it is not easy tracking down where a horse came from that has ZERO papers or known history! :)
